Parascript Named Tech Innovator by CRN

OCTOBER 29 2013, LONGMONT, Colo. – Parascript®, LLC, a leading recognition solutions provider, is announcing today that it has been named a 2013 Tech Innovator by CRN in the category of Printing & Imaging for its FormXtra Capture technology. The annual Tech Innovator Awards recognize the vendors that have launched the most innovative new hardware and software solutions over the past year.

Parascript’s FormXtra Capture is a complete, standalone capture solution for recognizing machine print, handprint and cursive writing on checks, documents, and forms, giving businesses the ability to more easily obtain information from a wide variety of documents.  The technology, provided through resellers, enables businesses to process all types of documents and data more efficiently and easily.  The latest version, FormXtra Capture 5.4, also incorporates dynamic signature verification and handwritten keyword location and data extraction on unstructured documents.

Each year, CRN Test Center Editors review hundreds of products to determine the best of the best. This year, companies were encouraged to submit across 17 hardware and software categories including enterprise management and productivity software; wireless networking; voice and data; enterprise network communications; display technology; handheld devices; PC servers; workstations and desktops; laptops; printing and imaging solutions; security; storage and cloud solutions; and virtualization. Winners were announced at a special presentation during the NexTI Conference on October 28th.

“The IT channel landscape has changed dramatically in recent years and solution providers are always on the lookout for new products that can help them take advantage of evolving market opportunities,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “The CRN Tech Innovator awards recognize the vendors who are helping their solution provider partners solve challenges with innovative offerings.”

“Our technology is our lifeblood at Parascript, and we are dedicated to continually advancing it to benefit our resellers, who help us to take it to the business community.  We are honored to be recognized with a prestigious CRN Tech Innovator Award, and look forward to continuing to lead with cutting-edge solutions in the forms and document recognition space,” said Alexander Filatov, president and chief technology officer at Parascript.

2013 Tech Innovators were selected from a large pool of nominations, with winners and runners-up selected by the editors of CRN and the CRN Test Center. Tech Innovators is featured in the November issue of CRN magazine, and the full list will be online at CRN.com beginning November 11th.
