Diagnostic Imaging Europe –Â This article describes an independent assessment of the clinical performance of a Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) software system comparing screening mammography with and without CAD. The results show that both sensitivity and specificity were increased when radiologists reviewed mammography cases with the help of CAD.
